Dear Remington,
You and Daddy had such a fun adventure on this day in February (2-4-12 to be exact). You and he went to the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah to see all the neat trains at the train expo. You were sooo excited, you even kept your warm Thomas hat on your head since it was a pretty cold day. Don't you love how Mommie coordinated your hat with your scarf? I just wanted you to be GQ (Gentleman's Quarterly) chic! You even took Salty (one of Thomas' friends) with you to the train show! Dad said there was so much to see and although you and he arrived at the opening of the show, it was crowded with a multitude of train enthusiasts. You were able to watch a lot of trains as they whirred and chugged around their tracks, and you were so happy to be around so many trains, the only disappointing facet of your visit was that you were not tall enough to ride on the Thomas train ride. You loved this event with all of its gizmos, noise, bells, and whistles, that when it was time to leave, Daddy had to buy you a train set so you would not have a tantrum (yes, at this point in your life your parental figures are not above bribery, laugh-out-loud).
We love you and your "obsessions." May you always find trains fascinating and fun and; may you always have healthy obsessions!
Love Forever and X Infinity,
Mommie.
**P.S. Gentleman's Quarterly is an upscale magazine for Gentlemen...
